The current elder to the Landre family, Theros is a distant cousin to both Gilth and Raine. Born on the East Continent, he came of age in Fontan and immediately began his military career. A knight of Al Amarah for the length of his career, he began in the Democratic Guard, fighting primarily in the west of Fontan against Perdan and Caligus, and later Westmoor. Eventually the war had taken the lives of several knights, and Theros was given an invitation to join the elite army of Fontan, The Lions. Accepting the honour, Theros was almost immediately repositioned to the east to fight with the Lions against OR and Sirion. Theros continues to serve with honour as a hero and Lion of Fontan.

With the disbanding of the Lions, Theros' mental stability began to fall. He, and others, began to worry that he was slipping into madness as dark dreams escalated and he could hear his cousin, Raine, speaking in his mind. Theros discovered that the mental disease which had claimed his cousin was called The Darkness, and she was in fact dead. This disease was prominent in the warriors of the Landre Family, causing their lust for battle turn to hunger for killing. The family generally believes the problem is a demon manifestation.
