House Kolten

The Noble House Kolten hales originally from the Desert of Silhouettes, but was driven out when it was overcome by monsters before they had their chance to raise to the right rank and deserved rank of a knighted house. The House, having been worked up from nothing by his Father, who perished when monsters overran the lands when he and his guards attempted to push the monsters back away from their lands. Blince then took the leadership of the House and lead them away, and only now has become a knight of the estate; Kolten Keep.

The banner of the house is a black background, with three white horse shoes in a triangular formation upon it.

Family

His Family, though small at the moment, consists of six members at present.

  • Blince Kolten, the Lord of House Kolten
  • Triche Ashens, the Lady of House Kolten
  • Toryn Kolten, the heir to the House
  • Tayne Kolten, second in line to the House
  • Bianca Kolten, the eldest Daughter
  • Yule Kolten, the youngest Daughter

As of yet, all children are unmarried.

Estate

The Kolten family's estate is Kolten Keep.

This being a fortress, in the middle of a flat desert, with the surrounding lands being that of what farms the peasants can place together, and many peddlers of baubles and spice for those that pass through. The keep its self is built over a spring of fresh water that has been turned into a fountain, and well that the peasants are rationed from. The noble family drinks freely from this, of course. This often bringing discontent to the lands, but it is often forgotten when the peasants are handed their rationing of the fresh water. The surrounding area, having houses and one inn. No alcohol in the area as the only form of drink that the family brings in, to be rationed to the peasants, is water.

Relations

The Kolten family, as of yet, have no feuds or hostilities between those in the realm. Save House Tarcyn of whom there are whispers of the two knighted families, in the Desert of Silhouettes, having some form of rivalry.
