Klingenberg Family

The noble Klingenberg family was founded generations ago in Dsinasas, when Fredrick Klingenberg saved a nobleman's daughter from a wild boar's attack and was rewarded a minor noble title for it and some land of his own. For these actions, the family coat of arms was chosen to be an impaled boar.

The family continued it's existance mostly unnoticed, as a small family without any real power, without much land or much interference in politics and war.

Friedrich

General

When Friedrich, the middle son, became 20, a war was started by Soliferum against Lunaria. He decided he could no longer stand outside the rest of his realm. He gathered the few men he could find who were willing to risk their lives, and left for Ortedail. There he would join the army of Lunaria, and join the fight against the demons of Sol.

Friedrich is a tall man, almost gaunt, with icy blue eyes and pale blonde hair cut short. He has the impaled boar painted on his shield and the hilt of his sword is decorated with a boar's head engraved in it. He is known as a fanatic to those that have been around him, he makes it a habit to see his enemies as dehumanized monsters and will stop at nothing to destroy them completely. Each of his soldiers has been hand picked by him and trained for one goal. Destroy the enemy completely.

Osaliel

After the battle for Osaliel was lost by Lunaria and Nighthelm because of the treachery of Zonasa and the refusal to act by the Lunarian chain of command, Friedrich's world came stumbling down on him. He felt betrayed not only by Zonasa, but also by his own leadership as he saw the Nighthelm troops being slaughtered by the Soliferum demons. Immediately after the battle which they were not allowed to join, he and his men were seen storming off. The banner they used to carry with Lunaria's symbol left behind in the mud and replaced again by the personal banner of the Klingenberg family. If they were not allowed to fight either way, they might as well spend the rest of the war in the brothels of Ortedail, so went Friedrich's logic at least.

Any who crossed their paths on their way to Ortedail could easily see the glimmer of hatred, bloodlust and murderous rage in the eyes of the knight and his soldiers. For each man left standing under Friedrich's command, four had died in the previous battles after all. Yet, this betrayal by their leaders completely nullified the sacrifice done.

Joaquin

Joaquin is the youngest brother of the current generation Klingenbergs. Four years behind the second brother -Friedrich- in age, he was left alone most of his youth since his brothers always deemed him too small and young to play or train with him. During his own training, it showed that he held little talent for the blade or the art of war. Joaquin always was more the person for hunting, wooing women, or hanging around in the taverns.

Joaquin is somewhat smaller than average, with nearly feminine facial features. Under his long blonde hair and warm blue eyes he is nearly always smiling.
