Grand Imperator Amaury Appointed the Duke of Askileon

Due to the grave illness of Duke Proslyn, another capable lord was needed to rule over the Duchy of Askileon. Her Highness Queen Alanna chose Grand Imperator Amaury for the task. The appointment was not without controversy, as some questioned the wisdom in bestowing such power on one noble, to command the troops as the Grand Imperator and hold the power over the most central duchy of the realm. The arrangement did, however, have similar examples in history.

War Declared on Myern

The City of Shinnen was claimed for the Lurian Empire ages ago. Despite of this a group of erratic nobles went ahead to found the Realm of Myern there anyway. Thus, when the time was right, Queen Alanna declared war on Myern and some troops were ordered to march towards Shinnen in order to destroy what little was left of the small realm.

Garuck Udor joins Pian en Luries

Lord Galeo, Count of Garuck Udor, chose to join Pian en Luries to avoid any unnecessary bloodshed that was coming his way due to the war declared on Shinnen. Thus Garuck Udor became part of Pian en Luries and the Duchy of Askileon.

Fall of Myern

Once it became apparent to the nobility of Myern that their realm was about to be destroyed, a good portion of the nobility decided to leave in numbers. As this was the final seal to the destruction of the sad realm of Myern, Grand Imperator Amaury, Duke of Askileon, chose to step down from his task as the leader of the Lurian Armies and focus on the governing of the glorious duchy of Askileon.
