The Clan of Kasshin takes in and trains many people from all walks of life.

Dozens, even hundreds, of people arrive at the secretive training center to undergo the Kasshin's vigorous training regime. Some students are as young as children while others are wizened old men seeking new knowledge. The Kasshin do not turn any away.

Those who are lucky enough to be taken under the wing of the Kasshin spend their initial years of training attempting to discover their true aptitude in life, be it mastery with the spear or mastery with the pen. The Kasshin do not believe that one discipline is greater than another. The only thing that matters is the student and since each student is different, it is obvious that they will master different disciplines at a different pace.

Once a student has decided to pursue a particular path in life, the Kasshin will train the student to perfect that chosen discipline. The Kasshin believe that there is little pride to be found at being merely good at everything. Instead, it is their goal to achieve utter perfection in one field.

At any point during their stay, a student can leave the school. The only payment the Kasshin demand is that all students take the name of Kasshin and that once every year the will to the center for a week and reports on what the year has taught them. However, some of the more successful students tend to send a bit of gold back to the Kasshin as a token of their graditude.

Hundreds of people have been trained by the Kasshin. If two nobles share the name of Kasshin, it does not mean that they are related by blood, nor does it mean that they are know or recognize each other. They may be friends, strangers or even enemies. It does not matter. The Kasshin teach knowledge not morals, ethics or views. That is up to the individual student.

Loran

Shani

Quattro

Quattro was trained as a leader of men during his time with the Kasshin. The art of motivation, the belief in discipline and the skill of communication were taught to him from an early age.

Believing that he was destined to be a great military commander, he journeyed to young realm Nighthelm in the Far East, a realm which celebrated military prowess. His years with Nighthelm were more than eventful. He experienced Rebellion, war, liberation, near catastrophe, painful defeat and sublime victory within his few short years. He was even appointed High Marshal of the realm.

However, Quattro soon realized that in this realm of great military minds, he was but a simpleton. While certainly competent, he was not able to rank himself as the best strategist or the best military commander. He reconsidered his options and decided to give the post of High Marshal to another more deserving warrior.

His tenure as the Duke of Hatdhes gave him an elightening experience. He realized that his skills learned with the Kasshin also applied in motivating the citizenry. He found himself working alongside the civil servants, helping them organize the daily administration of the city. His powerful sense of discipline and justice helped him hold fair and just courts. Quattro realized that he was not a military leader but a leader of the people.

Due to his skills, he was elected as the Arch Priest of Nighthelm and appointed the Duke of Masahakon, the capital of Nighthelm. He is also a long standing member of Nighthelm's Senate.
