The History of The Grand Lodge of Lunaria

As Written by Brian Fionn, before his emmigration from the Far East and his subsequent death fighting for Caligus.Continued by myself Tiernan Fionn after his absence.Much of what is written here is up for discussion, and may not reflect everyone's view of events.This was written by my brother who was an impetuous man, and saw the world in his own eyes.

The Grand Lodge

The Grand Lodge was always a place of conflict.Founded for peace and security, It saw nought but war and strife in its lifetime.It was a land where ideas collided and armies clashed. Its rolling hills and fertile farms would see their fair share of blood and its people gave their own blood to preserve it. Nestled between two superpowers, the Grand Lodge always struggled for its own place in world events, and through a series of remarkable nobles, it achieved its own measure of recognition. A scholarly haven, founded upon the lodge of Ortedail, where learning was valued above all else, Lunaria saw its share of viciousness and savagery.Dissapeared now into the sands of time, I hope to preserve some of what we knew in Lunaria, here, in this book. An account of the Rise and Fall of the Grand Lodge of Lunaria, by those who saw it happen.

The Secession

Decades ago, the empire of the sun stretched across the south peninsula of the Far East. Controlling trade, travel and thought. Their armies were rightly feared throughout the south. But despite their power, they could not control their own people. In the ranks of the Soliferum nobles were some who had become dissilusioned with the corruption and manner in which the vast empire was run. These were not merely young nobles, looking for their shot at fame and recognition. These were established nobles, the men and women upon whom the empire had been built. Annwn, duchess of Ortedail, led these few. She planned the seperation of her duchy from the empire. A move so bold and shocking that when it became a reality, the effects of it reverberated throughout the south. Nobles of Soliferum flocked to either side, and the great empire was split down the middle. Here I will list those who arrived in those first few days in Lunaria. Those who held the first barricade against the vengeful might of the armies of the Sun.

• Annwn- Duchess of Ortedail, founder and first pontifex of the Grand Lodge of Lunaria. Led the war on Soliferum, before disapearing somewhat surprisingly. Seen on occasion since but never for long.

• Alpha- One of the most important figure in pre-secession Soliferum. Paladin Primus under Annwn, took over after the dissapearance of his lord. Led Lunaria through the Secession wars intact, and began one of the few periods of peace which Lunaria enjoyed.
