The Godwin family originates from Zamor on the Eastern Continent where they were a minor and insignificant family though hardworking and with high values of loyalty and trust. This was changed by the first born, William who left the family home soon after becoming an adult and set sail to the Colonies where he joined Giblot, his younger brother Harold followed soon after but rather than live in his brother's shadow became a knight of Wetham.
