The undead champions downfall was predictability. Unable to change his habits and adapt to an opponents unique moves he enacted the same swings over and over. Once Theodore noticed this he began waiting for a particular series of moves to begin again, one that caused the champion to overextend and leave himself open to attack. When the moment came Theodore swung upwards with his sword, knocking the head of the champion clean off and rendering the skeleton inert.

Knowing there were other undead in the area Theodore strove to drive off the last of them before finding a buyer for the breastplate. That move was his undoing. The undead swarmed into the glade where he stood waiting for them, the breastplate behind him in a sack (it was too good for a commoner to wear) which the undead scooped up after leaving Theodore for dead. For hours he lay in the glade, thinking upon his untimely demise. Had it not been for the quick thinking of the hunter who found him he would have perished. All that remained for him to do was recuperate, for the Glorious Breastplate of Protection was still out there in Ffangor, in the clutches of another undead whose unlife he would end.

Found in Ffangor by Theodore Burson, procurer of unique items for Old Grehk's nobility. It was worn by a champion of the undead who faced Theodore in single combat after the unliving horde he commanded were disposed of. The fight was long and Theodore grew weary looking for an opening to defeat his once-breathing opponent.
