Located on the delta of the only river of the north with the eastern ocean, there where the cold waters of the mountains meet the salty waves of the vast sea, the lighthouse stands proud guiding the sailors to the city's port. Seamen, whores, beggars, abandoned taverns and cheap hotels, all can be found in the port illustrating its great importance for the city's and the entire duchy's economy which is based on the trade for a steady revenue.

Passing the scarce residences of the port workers, a stony bridge and fields of golden coloured crops show the way to the inner city where the ducal mansion and the city services can be found. A busy place with everyone working on the rebuilding of the city after a devastating war and a multicultural society that exhibits the various influences of the realms that have owned Lasop in the past, all together give a special touch in the unique lifestyle of the commoners.

The people of Lasop tired of the recent wars look dubious towards the aristocracy and often turn to crime conspiring against the legitimacy of the Duke's authority hoping that in this way distress will be avoided. Crime rates are high and religious division makes things worse.

The city surrounds a damaged stronghold with regular militia patrolling it all the times, as well as the knights' residences, a small temple and the imperial recruiting academies.

Smell the salty air, adopt the high tempo of the workers and the intense lifestyle of the commoners, feel the chilly breeze passing through the devastated walls, have a good time with the whores and feel welcomed in an historical monument, the City of Lasop.
