Eston possesses a fine and proud military tradition. Once dominated primarily by a system of individual armies operating upon their own specific objectives, the military tradition of Eston has moved to one primarily dominated by the Royal Marshal taking a central role in orchestrating the movement of troops.

Nevertheless, many individual armies still exist within Eston and often change in size and name frequently to meet the needs of their Sponsors and of the Kingdom as a whole.
