The Emerald Studed Longsword of Doom was a wedding gift from Count Orlaf of Bastionburg to his son Dusricht many years ago. The sword won much aclaim in its day and was a family heirloom passed from farther to son many times. However, Bastionburg was gripped by a turnip famine and its economy crashed.
