"In the late summer of 2010. we embarked on an expedition to claim Aix and its vast forestlands. Upon our arrival the locals, tired of anarchy and chaos, greeted us with enthusiasm and zeal. Swiftly the buildings in Aix were rebuilt, markets reopened and local population sheltered within the city. The first blocks of a great wall surrounds Aix again, and in the center lies our greatest treasure - a temple of the gods. When our holy march continued the surrounding provinces joined as well. Destroyed lands were civilized again, houses rebuilt and fields preserved. The word of Ramsus is spreading quickly, the sword of Sartan is raising ferociously, the seeds of Tersea grow fertile, and the cold blade of Kokini waits in the shadows to strike at wrongdoers who might cross our path. The Diocese of Aix is born by the will of the gods and is looking forward for many ages of prosperity and serenity." ~ Abraxas Arrakis, Duke of Aix

History

Diocese of Aix was founded by a group of devout members of Ibladesh in the summer of 2010. Lead by Aeolus Ironsun, the expedition determinedly reached Aix. Aix was claimed by conquest by the Church of Ibladesh, and was thusly chosen as a new capital and a starting point for young theocracy. As the Aixen banners expanded safely and surely the lands were conquered and new culture was spread across the areas that belonged to Aix. This first period of infancy and serenity has also been blessed by the wedding of Archbischop Aeolus Ironsun and Countess Tsukiko D'Anglos of Lorient.
