History of a banner

How add heraldry can improve the game? how heradlry work?

something like those personal crest

so immagine this:

• the banner of region xyz was a white shield with a red rampant lion on it
• the family Bellifratelli born in the xyz region so they use the regional banner as family banner, but adding 3 star as the number of family member who start the venture in the world.
• Giovanni Bellifratelli become judge of realm KKK so he decide to modify is personal crest, and add a Balance to his crest, he was only one mmeber of the family, so now is banner show: a white panel with a red rampant lion, one star and a Balance.
• Giovanni Bellifratelli become Earl of XXX region. the banner of the XXX region was a yellow red shield. so he decided to add the yellow and red attribute to his banner: he split in 3 part the personal crest, in the top he left his orginal part, in the low he put a yellow and red field..
• Giovanni Bellifratelli keep the region XXX for year, so after the time, people start to identify his banner as the XXX banner. He decided to use it as Regional Banner of XXX. In the while he becomed marshall of the Green Guard, so he have just added a little green shield on his personal crest.
• Giovanni died, but a new emerged Bellifratelli start his adventure. He says to be the son of Giovanni, the personal crest of Giovanni Son is a yellow and red shield with a red lion and a star, the red lion of the family was on the yellow field of XXX and a yellow star was on red field, but he keep in the top a synthesis of the father banner.
• Alberto son of Giovanni, was a brave warrior, and he conqured for his realm a new duchy, the YYY city fall under his command. YYY city have black flag with 3 white ball and a coronet on the top.

Alberto add the new shield in his heraldry alongside the green little shield of the Green Guard. and put the duchal coronet on the top of the crest.

• after a feud with another duke, Alberto decided to made a secession. He found a new realm YYYland and decided to use his personal crest as Banner of the realm.

• now who read the YYYland realm banner can read all the bellifratelli heraldry history: can see who someone was from the GreenGuard, they have a duke and a Judge in the family, they come from XYZ region and they have ruled on the XXX region... and i think this it will be wounderfull.

here you can see how different crest can be combined for create a realm banner, after it the banner can synthetize the mayor one for a more simple one.
