Holy Father and Elune's History

In the beginning, there was one God, the Holy Father. He lived a life of loneliness and sadness. He wanted a companion; somebody to share His life with. So He created a beautiful Goddess, somebody so innocent that it would melt even the coldest hearts and He named Her Elune. They lived a nice life, a life of love and innocence. Yet, They mourned for something more that would liven up Their lives, something They could pour Their heart and soul into.

So, for 500 years They thought, and finally, one year, They decided They would create a new world, one that They could put both of Their love into. So the Holy Father created the Earth and the Light and Elune filled it with Nature and Mountains and Water. The Earth was a sight to be seen, but yet it was still missing something. So in time, it was decided They would create a race in Elune's Image. They decided to call them Elves who would protect the Earth from any type of harm or damage and would keep the balance. Or so They thought.

Over some period of time, the Holy Father saw that the elves were happy and loved, and that Elune loved them too, but He wanted something in His image as well as something that would help the elves learn more than just Nature. So He created Humans in His image; they were the sole purpose of the Light, but the problem was that the Earth was not ready for Humans. Humans seemed to want more then just Nature and the Light. They wanted power and wealth as well. So as Humans grew, they seemed not to have the life-span as elves did. They populated more and the Earth grew smaller, and smaller, and smaller until one day, war came and ravaged the land. The Elves went into hiding along with Elune. Years and years passed and Humans grew stronger. Weapons were made and all the Holy Father could do was watch in sadness of what His people had done. The Earth was destroyed and forests were cut down to make way for cities. They had forgotten the ways of the Light and sadly paid for it.

Then came the Plague and along with the Plague came what the Humans feared most; the Undead. The Undead came and destroyed everything in their path. Everywhere they went, death stalked the land. Humans cried out in pain, yet there was no answer, 'till one day the Elves and Elune emerged saddened by what had happened to the land. Elune cried out in pain and the Holy Father came to Her aid. Fighting together with the Humans and Elves, They threw back the Undead and retook the Earth, but the damage had been done. The Earth was uninhabitable.

Elune saw the faces of the Humans and the Elves and She made a pact with the Earth to repair the damage that had been done. She sacrificed Her very being to fix and mend the Earth. The Holy Father watched in grief as His love began to use all Her power to repair what had been done to the Earth. The trees began to grow and the land began to turn green again. The cost She paid for His sin turned Her very being to stone. In Her last words she said:

Elune: May the Earth mend and may My love help guide the people of the Earth for I cannot. Keep the balance and may you all live in peacefulness.

Then Her very being turned to stone.
