Well, as you can't stop us from speculating, I'm going to start speculating...

:It's clearly some sort of "mini-game" or something based on, but separate from, BattleMaster.  It appears likely to use BattleMaster's player & character databases.  It's obviously based around combat, and appears to use some sort of random number factor (dice) to determine the outcomes of battles.  It will be something client-server based, and hopefully Tom will write nice simple clients for the major platforms (though it looks like he's also got a web-based client planned).  Messages can be sent and received, presumably much like in-game.
