Sir Neleron Carna was born in Trawiy, his family's ancestral home, twenty years prior to his becoming an active noble in the realm. With his other brothers and various tutors, his education was standard for those of noble birth. Horse riding, sword fighting, strategy, litrature, the manners of court, the running of an estate. In each of these areas he showed himself proficient above and beyond the skills of his siblings. As such, he was provided gold, a family guard unit and a letter of introduction.

From his family's estate, he wrote his local lord, Viscount Gorm Baulr, seeking a position as a Knight in his service. As the Viscount had already more Knights than he needed, he instead referred Neleron to address the Imperial Senate, which he did, and to which two major offers were opened - a Knight of Cagil or Calis. While both Dukes provided excellent motivation to become a Knight in their service, he was eventually won over by Shanka Foonfa Courcelle, Duke of Cagil, as Cagil was both his home Duchy and the capital of the Cagilan Empire.

Assigned to the Pax Caligus army by his new liege, he served under Marshal Merlin Silverfire in the battles fought against Falasan to the north. During this time, Neleron also exchanged letters with his Mentor, Marquess Famine Rider and Viscount Enri Kinsey, a man he considered his "second mentor". Less than a month into his time as an active member of the Nobility and the position of Earl of Ansalle became vacant and, as the Empire is considered a republic, the position came before the Imperial Senate to decide on. Again, he addressed the august body and is told two others of influence spoke in his favour. Despite others interested in the responsibility (the leader of The Word, a large religion in the Empire, and Lady Caris who had became quite well known through her leadership in battle against internal threats), Neleron won the Senate vote with support greater than the next two contenders. An almost unheard of victory, given his short time.

Since then, he has became active in the Senate discussing various matters of note and has also joined the controversial Imperial Movement Guild as second to Earl Velkyn, the movement's founder. He continues his work on the battlefields with the Pax Army and has high expectations for the future of the Empire.

Sir Sahar Carna departed from the family home, and started his military career as a knight of Eston. He swore his loyalty to Chiver Hseih, Lord of Loratil, and joined the Hand of the Citadel army under Marshal Luka Emarama. Participating in several campaigns with the Northern Federation against Minas Ithil, he earned a name as a Knight always willing to report and move as ordered, when ordered. The battles against MI were but a prelude for the shorter campaign against Darka who had quickly declared war and taken almost an entire duchy to the west of the Eston Kingdom - including Loratil where his estate lay.

That war is now over and Eston turns its sights north with its new allies. Rather than marching with the army, however, Sahar has joined the Bureaucratic Federation of Eston as a Courtier to repair the damage done by the Darkan attacks so that the Kingdom may delve into its new campaigns with its full strength brought to bear.

Sir Raedir Carna departed from the family home to the East Continent. His retinue of guards from the Family home was sadly wiped out in two pitched battles early upon his arrival as monsters attempted to rampage a region he was passing through. Gallantly, he led his men and the local militia against them and after the third battle wiped the remnants out with only a couple of men and a deep wound to testify his success. He had found a liege there, but attempts to swear his fealty were met with constant delays from the Lady in question and, after some days of waiting, received word from home to travel to the continent of Dwilight where he was told he was needed.

Raedir arrived safely on the Dwilight continent, settling Pian en Luries with other relatives of families his own had ties to. As a Knight of Giask and a close advisor to his Duke and the Grand Imperiator of the time, he found himself more and more disillusioned by the bias shown by the Queen towards her own religion where it, he felt, put the matters of her spirituality above the more vital matters of state. While he did retain his civility, the tone of his private letters grew more and more disheartened until he finally decided enough was enough and sent a letter to the entire Kingdom. The letter was not terribly ill received, however the Family back on Atamara came to the conclusion that his time away served little benefit to House Carna and he was therefore promptly recalled.

Kalak was sent to the Far East Islands shortly after Raedir's disasterous return to the family manor. Knowing that he must quickly prove himself to the House, Kalak joined the realm of Ohnar West where the Hseih family held the Prime Minister position. It was within only the first week or two that Kalak had been raised to the position of Senator of Upasael. The lack of Knights was a startling thing, but the importance of that decision can only be judged by hindsight as two Senators turned traitor. With his position as Senator and an advisory role in the Military Council, Kalak was elevated to second in command of the First Army when its previous officer became unavailable.

After many long battles around the regions of Upasael and Pesol whereby Kalak excelled in following and forwarding orders and participated eagerly in the Military Council debates, he was appointed as the Marshal of Ohnar West's First Army by its sponsor, the then Prime Minister Cornelius II. When Strategic Commander Louis, the Marshal of OW's second army - the Ohnar Elites - stepped down from his position due to personal reasons, a vote was called to select his replacement. With the tough time on the battlefield and the need for a trustworthy noble in the position, Kalak found himself appointed to replace Louis.

Kalak's battle continues and while it may be two Duchies versus one, the overwhelming military support provided by Arcaea and Greater Aenilia ensures his responsibility is not an easy one to bear. Regions are lost for a time and taken back. Allies make vague pledges of support while others send their troops but are loath to engage. A tough job, but Kalak's fond of pointing out that the Carna's may find their way to high responsibility but they never give up even when the pressure is at its greatest. For Kalak, the pressure of his position is not his concern. Winning the war is.
