Laws and Edicts of the Land

The realm of Caerwyn is a newcomer to Dwilight, but was founded upon, and continues to uphold the principles of integrity, trust and strength. Built despite enduring hardship from the rigors of colonisation, we in Caerwyn uphold a high set of standards and laws to reinforce the pride in which we hold for being members of powerful and righteous Nobility.

The realm of Caerwyn is a secular entity, but all nobles are strongly encouraged to find Faith in their chosen following, as is their right as a Noble. The question of religion in Caerwyn is solved through a decision to accept no specific religion as the primary faith of all Caerwynians. Instead, to ensure that the rights of the Nobility are maintained, the choice of religious worship and the act of the construction of Temples, is left up to the decision of the Noble. Any Lord may construct a Temple to his faith in their own lands, provided that Faith does not work in a fashion that is detrimental to the realm of Caerwyn as a whole.

As Nobles of Caerwyn, issuing duels is the full right of a noble to do so or not. The only reason for it not to be tolerated is if there are no reason behind the duel, for you must only duel for a question of honour.

Due to the noble nature inherent in all Caerwynian dealings and actions in our role as defenders of the land and her people, Caerwynian armies do not loot enemy lands without the direct instruction of a member of the Caerwynian High Council.

The 'Fee of Plunder' does not have any exceptions, if you are given the authority to loot yourselves Caerwyn will get the majority of the gained gold!

During times of war it is imperative that every Caerwynian works together towards a shared goal of mutual prosperity and protection. If you will be unavailable for a period of time or have found yourself otherwise incapable of following the directions of your commander please inform a member of the Caerwynian High Council or let your liege know ahead of time if at all possible. Failure to do so will first result in a warning; subsequent offenses in fines.

Finally, remember that all nobles are due respect, direct insubordination, repulsive or inflammatory remarks or rebellious actions are strictly forbidden. Doing so will find yourself at the mercy of my conscience, which in cases of treason or sheer unadulterated idiocy, is rather lacking.

Protect Caerwyn, act with dignity towards your fellow noble, and you will find Caerwyn to be a home above homes.

Concerning looting & colonists

Unless specifically allowed by the military council all the looting to be illegal, fines up to 250gp issued for the first offense, second offense will bring banishment from the realm.
