The Brilliant Mace of Battle was discovered by Elric Corian of Norland while battling the undead hordes in Egret's Rock. He had been searching for a shrine to a lost hero rumored to be in the area and came upon a large cluster of undead feasting on the remains of some unfortunate traders. Elric obtained the Mace after defeating what he thought was a leader of the group. Moments after finding the Mace he was again attacked at lost the Mace.
