Avamar is Dead, Long Live Avamar!

City of Oligarch, January

The combined armies of Fontan and Sirion, two supreme militarist powers, and of Old Rancagua, their petty puppet, put an end to the reign of Culture in East Continent. After many years of an uneven struggle against the odds, the People's Republic of Avamar, fell to Doccy's barbaric hordes.

Soon the sun will rise to sign the begining of 21st day of December. But the sun won't light the unbearable darkness in the souls of the brave defenders of Avamar. Last night nearly 5000 soldiers from Sirion, Fontan and Old Rancagua attacked the city and breached its walls. Against them stood defiantly 2000 decisive Avamarians and few hundred brothers and sisters from Oligarch. The battle that it was later named Mother of All Battles lasted all night and it was the deadliest this continent -if not the whole world- has ever experienced.

Despite the heroism of the defenders, eventually Doccy and his servants prevailed. The battles continued for 20 more days and the remaining Avamarians together with citizens fought for every inch of their beloved city. The last battle was given outside the People's Hall where few dozens citizens and partisans gave their last breath trying to save their symbol of freedom -the capitol- from the outstanding brutality of the invaders.

It is highly commentable that not a single noble Avamarian left the falling City, while they were incidents of Sirionites leaving the continent disgusted by the actions of their own race!

In January 10, the Avamarian flag was removed from the People's Hall and the red flag of the elves was raised, uncomfortanly fitiing with the colour of the blood that was shed in the streets. Nearly 10000 citizens and 2500 soldiers gave their lifes, remaining loyal to their beliefs and ideals to the very end.

Although most nobles had sworn to stay and die with the city, they finally mutually decided to take the difficult road to exile. Thus they massively moved to Oligarch where a new life could give them hope for a future return to their ancestors land.

People's Republic of Avamar: An Undying Ideal
Avamar is stronger than ever!

Doccy's dream came true. And after countless empty threats, plots, intrigues, failed assaults, he managed to destroyed a realm unique in East Continent. But what he has really achieved besides the fullfilement of his personal twisted ambitions?

He has managed to unite the People of Avamar once again! Under a different banner they have freely chosen to serve. Under the banner of their eternal brothers in Oligarch. Together they have given many serious blows to Sirion's, Old Rancagua's and Fontan's aggresion. And through their unity and friendship and uncomparable devotion, a new generation of Avamarian nobles have been developed and reached maturity within only few weeks.

Ammeria, Petrus, Saruyama, Janus, Thumbelina, Bladesinger, Nerudaneth, Malice, Orger, Takeo, Hamin, Anasalle and so many others, lived -even briefly- in a utopia. They shared the same fair values, they experienced equity, justice and freedom of will and speach. How can someone forget once he or she has found ideals worthy to fight and die for? They are the future of Avamar. They are the ones that eventually will set afoot and free our magnificent city from the conquerors

Thanfedal, Loquan, Kolya, Aramir and Glargh, being "elders" found themselves at the front of the great exodus, assigning their wisdom for the good of the people. Many verbal conflicts against the pointy ears had been won, not only maintaining the morale of the citizens in extremely high levels, but also leading many Sirionites to see the true light and break free from Doccy's chains!

And what can be said about Lady Elutra who risked her life more than anybody attempting a doomed rebellion in Sirion in order to ease her beloved City from the overwhelming preassure?

With such nobles no realm can die! After all, a true realm is not consisted of a sum of lifeless regions. It is an alive entity that grows and flourishes as long as there are brave nobles that believe in its ideals!

People of East Continent,

AVAMAR IS DEAD LONG LIVE AVAMAR!

Fontan's Realm-Count
Who's Next?

Fontan...A Proud Realm. The only -official- Democracy in East Continent. A Realm where every single troop leaders gets respect and fair treatement. A Democracy where everybody enjoy equal votes, and every voice or opinion is cherished! Is everything really so ideal?

Unfortunately the true story is rather different...Fontan is the only realm in East Continent that played an active role to the extinction of four realms, giving the fatal blow to two of them...

Coimbra, an ally of Fontan, was the first realm to feel Fontan's Democratic values. Poor Coimbra was reduced to one region when the mighty Democracy of Fontan decided that their allies had suffered a lot already and there was no reason for the Coimbrans to see their realm destroyed by enemies. Thus they relieved their allies from the pain to see their realm dying and took over the last region of Coimbra. It is rather ironic that since then they are trying to refound the realm they destroyed. Maybe it is purely a tactical move. If Fontan ever needs new regions it can always take some from its allies. That's why the friends are for!

Rancagua, defended against Old Rancagua and Sirion for long. But eventually Rancaguans were pushed to their capital, the City of Kazakh. A big siege was undergoing and the smell of death and destruction reached the Fonatnese nostrils. Where the scavengers of Fontan could find a better chance to wipe out another weak opponent?

Eleador during the last years was always a peaceful realm with good relationships with all its neigbours. Until Doccy decided that Eleador, the weakest realm in East Continent, posed a threat to his empire. After reducing it to one region, Fontan felt comfortable enough to declare war on Eleador and take over its last region. Another great victory for Democracy was achieved!

People's Republic of Avamar, was always a true problem for the great Democratic values of Fontan. Was there an internal unreast in Fontan? It was obvious that the damned Avamarians were terrorising the innocent peasants. Was there low tax income? Avamarian infiltrators were corrupting the civil servants of the Democracy! Were there monsters in a Fontanese region? They were send or directly control by Avamarian dark magicians! Did Alexi the Paranoid had a tooth-ache? His Avamarian-made toothbrush was poisoned! Thus they waited for long, crawling in their hellholes, poisoning the minds of their young nobles and filling their hearts with hatred, until the right chance was presented. The true master of Fontan (Doc, who else?) ordered his puppets to attack!

Well done to Fontan Democracy! Soon your values will be spread to the world, as no enemies will have been left (and as long as Doccy allows it of course)!

A Prophecy Comes True
Darkness above East Continent

Tzoutzoukos has prophesised that Avamar won't fall, as long as the sun rises from the East. Later on Kolya interpreted the full prophecy as it is now written in the Great Library of Avamar:

"The city of Avamar shan't fall until
The Sun comes rising over that West hill
Fear will spike to the hearts of men
And all East Continent will have a big problem"

Avamar fell...The day the whole continent was covered by dust, the day the Sun didn't come out at all. And all realms suffered from the anger of the Gods, as Nature itself wept over the lost Gem of the Continent.
