Basis

Astrum is one of the newest realms on Dwilight, formed by nobles from the theocracy of Morek.

The realm was founded on the trade island of Libidizedd.

Astrum was created to spread the word of the bloodstars across the land, the expedition party was sent from Morek with honour and cheer.

History

Astrum cities.jpg

Astrum was formed under the three bloodstars, Maddening being the most potent and powerful lends ints power to the capital city of Libidizedd, which Auspicious and Austere lend theirs to Mimer and Eiduld respectfully.

Memoirs by Captain Gunther

Religion

The official Religion of Astrum is Sanguis Astroism. (The worship of the Bloodstars.) The Bloodstars are three red stars: the Maddening Star, the Auspicious Star and the Austere Star, that only appear a few times a year for a week or more. The constellation curiously hangs permanently over west Dwilight. Check the current phases of the Bloodstars here.

It is believed that the constellation causes madness among the natives of Dwilight and is a good omen to those of the eastern continents. It was the rise of Sanguis Astroism that led to Morek's rise over the natives.

Military

The military structure of Astrum currently consists of only one army: The Order of Astrum. Sponsored by Astrum's Strategos Justin Greystone, the army represents a milestone in the military affairs and expansion of the realm. The first Marshal of The Order of Astrum, Boreal Arakiss, was appointed by Strategos himself to that position. The army itself consists of mainly six first members of the expedition, which fought bravely through the wilderness of Mimer peninsula to establish a sanctuary of Sanguis Astroism. It represents the actual ideology of Astrum; brave religious warriors who are supposedly very cohesive, filled with rage at everyone who dares to challenge them and their faith, for their faith has already been tested many times before.
