Profs Dover and Hammond,

I trust that Director Ironsides is maintaining our finances properly and making the correct administrative choices in my sojourn abroad. There is a very good possibility of a western project becoming realized, although it is just as likely that an entirely different project group will be initiated.

Thusfar the Project has been slightly less effective than originally projected, although this has obviously been complicated by the obstructive behavior on the part of the former Chief Sponsor Adriddae and a near compromise of the true Project was barely averted. Then again, from my reports, it appears that the true Project had never been compromised in the first place. Regardless, do not be surprised if you are called to oversee development of a separate project group.

As far as potential recruitment goes, there is one here, and one who has followed from the original Project. Nevertheless, I feel that it would be no great loss to forfeit the current two locations in order to establish a different entity in the far west. I await to hear your feedback in this matter.

Professor Dover has, unfortunately, resigned recently for reasons that will be disclosed to you once the operative from the east arrives at your location. The estimate is at five days.

As far as a separate project heading, I am fully willing to shift resources gained from the first and current project in order to secure a second one. A revision of the protocols may also be administered upon your orders.
