General Information
Seated upon the throne is the full regalia of the Emperor, placed as it would be in life. The golden sun mask rests atop the white robe without seem or stitch, gripping the arms of the chair are the twin gauntlets made of interlocking plates of the darkest iron, and from the base one can see the twin boots of gold poking their way through the fabric. So guarded by the Silver Warriors, sentinel replicas of the Guardians of the Sun and overlooked by the Emperor himself the treasures of the Age are open for all to admire. Sadly very few do and the palace is often left empty save for the steady march of the Palace Guard on patrol, or the quiet tread of the Guardians of the Sun en route to their barracks. However there was another set of footsteps not so long ago belonging to Senator Fey. She had stopped for only a moment, to place the last piece of the imperial regalia still missing from the display on the arm of the throne. Thus it was, and now the story unfolds. The braided strands of the ring sat before the Emperor the dull brown contrasting sharply with all the golden glint. Made of copper, one of the rarest of all metals in the lands of Melhed the ring had been commissioned by Tsu during the first invasion and he had worn it until the eve of his disappearance. Thus of all the treasures it was this ring, and this alone that still survived from the Age of Mystery, the dark and uncertain past of Melhed.
