Sarmiento Family
The Sarmiento Family originates from the humble province of Azarons in the Principality of Zonasa on the Far East Island. Led by father Sebastian Zuccarelli Sarmiento, the noble family constructed a peaceful life in the country outside of the bustling port city of Zonasa.
Ares Audax - Stable hand in the family mansion who became the adopted son of Sebastian after the poor boys parents were slaughtered by a Casshern raiding party. Having grown up playing with the Sarmiento boys, he was heartbroken when the brothers struck out on their own, leaving him to tend to the family home. Having the same age as Geraldo, he was especially hurt by his decision to travel so far away from his 'twin'. But now he has said his goodbyes and struck out on a life of adventure in Belluaterra. Perhaps one day he will be united with his best friend on the shores of the East Island, but that day is long off. Ares is unable to read or write 'good', and therefore does not have a resumé to share with everyone. However he spends his nights learning and aspires to oneday earn nobility.
