September Elections: New Chancellor

The people of Fontan celebrated on the 1st of September with the election of Supreme Judge Zedd to the Chancellory. With 38% of the votes and defeating his competitor Mikhail, Zedd reaffirmed his popularity with the electorate in Fontan. Many parties were held, plays were shown to honour the chancellor and many messages of goodwill flooded from foreign dignataries and royalty to congatulate Zedd on his success. The Fontanese Digest wishes Zedd the best of luck in his duties as chancellor and a long reign.

A Familiar Face: Lord Andro returns

Former Banker and Hero of Fontan Andro returned to our realm this month with much of the realm in celebration of his return. Experienced, wise and a master with the ladies, Andro's return to Fontan will only strengthen Fontan's position and status in East Island as a strong and capable realm. Welcome back Andro!

From the Front: Westmoor and Oligarch sacked

Fontanese troops earlier this month were successful in sacking the Oligarch stronghold of Westmoor. While there was resistance, Fontanese soldiers successfully invaded the city. While residing in Westmoor, Fontanese soldiers grew accustomed to the actions of the Oligarchian Warlord and Duke of Westmoor Belgimir the Fearless, who would routinely through fruit and vegetables at Fontanese soldiers from his keep. Also, Fontan's allies Sirion were successful in invading the Oligarchian capital of Oligarch. Reports from the front are that the city was sacked and that severe strain was placed on the Oligarchian economy. The successes of our fighting men at the front also have shown severe strain on Oligarchian morale. The Fontanese Digest congratulates the Army of Fontan, General Lycastus and the Army of the Republic of Sirion on their success. Give 'em hell boys!
