Greetings Lords and Ladies of Perdan and Ibladesh. Today we see the region of Beziers flying the banner of Ibladesh. A move for this region signifying a peace that has been a long time in the making, and has seen far too much blood shed on both sides.
It is with honor that I recieve Beziers from Perdan on Ibladesh's behalf. May the road Perdan and Ibladesh once traveled together be cleared and repaired and may our realms know a friendship as we once did many years ago.
Evangeline may we grow together as friends and more as time passes so that peace on this continent can be realized fully.
May the gods bless us and guide us.

Evangeline listened to the serene and regal Pontifex speak as she handed her the title of Beziers.
Looking Evangeline directly in the eyes she said to her,
"Evangeline may we grow together as friends and more as time passes so that peace on this continent can be realized fully."
Looking around at the people of Beziers she saw their sad faces and some murmurs of dissent and unhappiness. Evangeline knew that given time and proper care, they would come to love Ibladesh as much as they now loved Perdan.
"Pontifex, today I handover a portion of my people into your care. May this sign of my trust in you bring us closer as realms and develop understanding and peace between our nations"
Together they moved to a table on which a peace treaty had been prepared. Using the same quill they took turns at signing their name to peace.

As Evangeline bent forth to sign the treaty, she remembered her potato assassin who usually lurked in the corner of the Senate smiling mischeviously.
Noting the location of the royal red curtain that had been errected for the ceremony, she rotated slightly so that her bottom was facing away from its direction.
Satisfied that she was facing the right direction, she returned her focus to the peace treaty and leant forward to sign.

Evangeline looked one last time at Beziers, at it's sturdy palisade and loyal people before turning towards Kerwyn.
He was standing to her side with his head hanging down. Embracing him and then pulling back, she held him at arms length looking him in the eyes,
"It not the end Lord Kerwyn, it's just the beginning. Your loyalty and dedication to the people of Beziers won't be forgotten - and the selfless, gentle nature in which you allowed your region to be given for peace with Ibladesh is testimony to your honour and rightful title of Lord"
