Roleplay from Evangeline

On the road to Partora...

"A scout of Partora", Evangeline asked of her scout.

"My Lady", her scribe enquired, "Why are you scouting Partora again?"

Evangeline explained, "Partora is a new city... it is important we know of the cat situation before we arrive"

An hour later...

The flushed scout returns to Evangeline,

'My lady, it appears the cats have recruited. They've managed to field at least 1,000CS. They appear to be moving to Brive, but I'm sure it's just a misdirect. Shall I inform Lord Magnus?'

Evangeline considers the information,

'No - Sir Magnus could use the training. Since wearing that dress he's had a tendancy to run from battles. Besides, 1,000cs of cats is no match for Sir Magnus and his HUSCARLS WITH BIG AXES'

Letter from Magnus

I'll have you know, that I wasn't running away, I was making a fighting withdrawl! If you'll also remember correctly, the dress was very effective because at least three units of Fontanese were so enamoured(hard up) they followed me all the way back to our lines where "their leaders were quickly surrounded and captured and their units disbanded!" I've personally never had my 'unit' "disbanded" but it cant be all that much fun infact it sounds painful and not in a good painful way! The dress was VERY comfortable I'll have you know! Even the ruler of Norland sometimes wears one into battle.

Letter from Evangeline

Sir Magnus,

I must apologise. It appears my scribe has delivered you information that was not intended for you. Although the speed in which you fled Bescanon has achieved legendary status in Perdan, I hope my scout also relayed that I had every confidence that you and your 'unit' had the required size and stamina to battle the cats in Partora.

Yours in Battle,

Letter from Magnus

Fair Lady Evangeline, You apology is duely accepted, however one as fair and 'glistening' as yourself could never give me offense. Tis true, my fighting withdrawl has become legend not just for its speed, but also because to the skill and fortitued it took to executed such a manuver! Have you ever tried to run, I mean withdrawl, while holding a long flowing dress trimmed with beautiful lace in one hand and a really BIG axe like 'FOE-CLEAVER' in the other? Its not as easy as I made it look I assure you. I had to wear said long dress in order to cover my 'unit' as I withdrew it from Bescanon and the Fontaneses Rear!

HARHARHAR!

Roleplay from Evangeline

Cresting the final hill towards Partora and looking over the lines of troops Evangeline can make out a distinct, THUMP!Ching!THUMP!Ching!THUMP!Ching!THUMP!Ching!

Squinting in the distance she can see Magnus and his HUSCARLS WITH BIG AXES stomping with spikey, armoured boots. Obviously some sort of contraption to compensate for his fear of kittens.

Continuing onwards Evangeline wonders how her close friend Sir Austin, with his love of cats, would feel about the situation. From the looks of those boots, the poor felines wouldn't even be fit for stuffing.
