Emerald Ring of Lightning

A handsome young warrior in a kettle hat and a red robe embroidered with golden ducks was seen sending a letter to the Council of the Obsidian Islands. Parts of it became a rumour among local merchants:

"...I visited the Wastelands recently and found refuge in a small assembly of tents when a storm overwhelmed me. It was a small community of strangely old fishermen, or so they said, but it was in the middle of the mainland! They saw the warrior in me and asked me to aid them with the struggle they had with an undead champion nearby. I found his lair and my kettle hat took many blows but I bested the evil creature. He had some silver coins and an intersting ring. I never saw this kind of metal before, it seems as if lightnings would dance over its surface when you hold it into the pale moonlight! When I returned to the village it was deserted. I wandered the Wastelands for some days but noone even saw this strange band of old fishermen. I was happy to keep the ring and moved on to Bastad..."
