Alkador, member of the Royal Rangers patrolling the lands of Luria Nova, hunted down bands of deformed beasts in the lands of Cadier and killed one of the larger brutes. He discovered this weapon in its lair amongst a pile of damaged weapons and armor and took it with him to sell it as scrap metal, yet he was informed in time of the weapon's legendary qualities. He promised it to one of the founders of the Royal Rangers, Lord Aldrakar Renodin, after it was repaired.
