Three brothers of an old family return to Stargard to reclaim their ancestral lands.
Kalanar, Lord of Byblack and Champion of Stargard.
The eldest. Little patience for politics, but not without good sense of those matters. Horse lord of Tara. He rides to war with the sons of Stargardian nobles, heavily armed and expertly trained.
Wilrandir, Ambassador of Tara.
Good with words, or so he thinks. Well educated in letters and numbers. He works for efficiency among the estates of the realm and looks for diplomatic possibilities abroad.
Walnar
The youngest. Not enough inheritance to go around and so he dwells in Dwilight. A sword master, or so he thinks. Some day he too will inhabit the glorious duchy of Stargard.
