Joseph is a pragmatic person, disdaining his father's vision for the perfect knight, he sets out to become a knight of his own fashion. He left aigaling mainly to escape from his overbearing father, He later got impatient with the seemingly permanent status quo in Atamara. he left the entire continent to join up with his brother David in the east. Feeling full of himself, he took the sword and went with the warring parties against Sirion. He got on the bad side of the judge of Sirion, when the region he served in Obando switched to Sirion. He never thought that the elves would hunt him down to bring him to their judge. The young man was deported to the colonies, his banishment and the months he spent in solitude made him more mature. When returning to the Sultanate, he decided to cast away the sword and seek his destiny as a trader. He is currently finding some success there as a trader, providing valuable service to the Sultanate of Asena in the process. Recently, however his wild self seemed to get the best of him, the sword is once again having an alluring appeal for this young man..

A jack of all trades, there is little that Joseph mhasn't tried, he is both a competent warrior and a superb administrator. However his constant travels left him unknown in both worlds. Joseph values what makes sense, if he was given an order he would do it as long as it makes sense, he will simply ignore and do something more beneficial otherwise.
