Roleplay from Philip
As the dust settled from yet another shattered wall in the Dukal Estates Philippe searched for his elusive opponent before straightening and saying to the world at large, “Oh how clever indeed….. You would use my anger against me in an effort to buy the others more time; too bad you didn’t tell them to be quiet. Oh and it’s time which they’ve squandered searching through one of my many businesses throughout the city. Tisk tisk, How poorly planed on your part.”

Casually walking around the study Philippe continued, “What did you expect? For them to side with you up on your arrival? For someone to save you? For me to surrender? –chuckle- How pathetic it is; this is the best you house could bring to bear and you have accomplished so little. Well I’ve tired of our games together so we end this now; I do have an empire to build….”

Raising his hand Philippe lazily curled his gauntlet into a fist and drove it into the floor. Some ways off in the manor a great crash followed by other, even less pleasant, noises erupted.

Laughing darkly Philippe slammed his fist into the floor a few more times causing echoes of horrible sounds to snake down the hall. As he straightened to leave he called out, “Try not to bleed everywhere by the way; it’s so hard to get out.”

“Now; where are those Avamarians?”

Roleplay from Philip
The horrible mount out of the way the intrepid (and gore soaked in Julia's case) heroes carefully poked around the office in the warehouse; only to find nothing out of place.

Eventually Kultan spoke up, “I could try singing….”

“Is that your answer to everything?” asked Tomaas.

“No….……. Okay, yes….. Look it’s worked so far hasn’t it?”

Without waiting for an answer the bard launched into a merry dirge; to the general dissatisfaction of his audience. Except for Eilonwy, who’s ears, finely tuned to pick up the slightest bannable offence, heard the distinct resonance of a large drum-like construct.

Moving along the walls she eventually found that it came from the spot opposite the door.

Roleplay from Lalakis
"Eilonwy? Have you found something interesting there?"

Lalakis asks, as he approaches the fair Lady, having seathed his sword in order to free both his hands and block his sensitive ears.

Tzoutzoukos, Tomaas and Thanfedal follows him, while Julia curses as she struggles to set herself free from One's lasso.

Meanhwile, the stinking breath of the dieing creature fills the air. The guards are reluctanct to approach any further and they keep firing arrows on the distinegrating body.

Roleplay from Philip
"I don't know Lalakis...." pointing to the wall Eilonwy continues, "This section sounds like it's hollow or something."

"Sounds hollow, what are you, elven?" asked Tzoutzoukos eyes glittering uneasily in the torch light.

"NO, maybe, yes? (or whatever Eilonwy decides to say when she gets unwounded.)"

"Hollow you say.... a secret passage maybe?" asks One.

Roleplay from Julia
Lady Julia, cuts the rope of One's lasso with her sharp Khopesh and stands up again. She gives One a depreciating look

-"Men..."She says and moves to the wounded creature, sword lifted and ready to give the final blow

-"So, what we've got here? How this thing arrived in Avamar unoticed? I'm not asking how it was fed. I'm sure that the neighbors have suffered a lot by Philippe's pet"

Julia approaches the monster trying to spot anything that could help her undertsand its nature better

Roleplay from Philip
As Julia approached the creature it glared fiercly before making the elven handgesture for 'bite me' and finally died from it's wounds.
