In a move that stunned the Taran People, the Prime Minister of the Cagilan Empire has declared war against Suville. Our Goodwill Tour has since been abruptly cut short as the participating CE contingent has instead begun besieging our former hosts.

On the eve of Dictator Lister's Declaration of War, a small detachment of Taran Troops invaded the ASI region of Rogeshore. Not wishing to overwhelm the 5,000 CS ASI force, Tara sought honorable battle with equal forces. However, even that was too much and ASI fled from us. The Army of Tara is currently attempting to vacate the area of hostilities and avoid being drawn in the larger conflict. Already, minor skirmishes have taken place as CE Nobles travelling with our army attacked local garrisons. One Suville Noble was wounded and his unit destroyed is the latest count.

To promote peace and better understanding among our neighbors, the Army of Tara and the Cagilan Empire Mobile Task Force have travelled to the former lands of Abington. It is hoped that this humanitarian mission will heal any leftover resentment that was caused by our participation in that realm's eradication.

In an effort to support the just cause of the tiny breakaway realms of Suville and Caergoth, the realm of Tara has just declared the existence of war between ourselves and ASI. Armies from Carelia, Talerium and Eston have recognized our just purpose and have joined us. We have also hired the feared mercenaries from Darka to aid our war.

I am pleased to report that we have met great success so far! The realm of Caergoth, in particular, have assembled their entire army in Wayburg to greet us as we travelled in their realm. Though not as warmly welcoming, the Protectorate of Magnus was reported to be pleased that the Cagilan Empire visited them. Expect trade to improve as our respective peoples begin to open their wallets in pursuit of exotic goods and services.

Many may wondered why so many realms would take this action. The reason, as I perceive it, is religion. The ASI religion of Magna Serpentism has been aggressive in its pursuit of converts. Priests from ASI, Falasan and the Principality of Magnus have ranged far and wide without respect of territorial rights or the wishes of the people involved. Now they pay the price for their hubris.

Lastly, the separated Armies are scheduled to meet in Suville. As the richest and most powerful of the Abington Spawns, this realm is expected to provide the most profit and entertainment during the Tour. We expect impressive results when our business is finished there. One can only hope it isn't all hype!

Battle of Rogeshore
February 25th, 2008

On the eve of Dictator Lister's Declaration of War, a small detachment of Taran Troops invaded the ASI region of Rogeshore. Not wishing to overwhelm the 5,000 CS ASI force, Tara sought honorable battle with equal forces. However, even that was too much and ASI fled from us. WAR with Ash Sea Islands!
February 25th, 2008

In an effort to support the just cause of the tiny breakaway realms of Suville and Caergoth, the realm of Tara has just declared the existence of war between ourselves and ASI. Armies from Carelia, Talerium and Eston have recognized our just purpose and have joined us. We have also hired the feared mercenaries from Darka to aid our war.

May the Gods grant us their favor...

Cedric McAlpin, Count of Aigaling
January 2nd, 2008

Cedric McAlpin, brother of the more famous Rodrick, has been named Count of Aigaling by Dictator Lister. This follows the promotion of myself to General of Tara and the relinquishing of my lands per Taran tradition.

In other news... Oscar and Rojo have been named Marshal and SiC of the Homeland Army.

Kurohyou Bakos, SiC - Army of Tara
January 10th, 2008

Kurohyou Bakos, Knight of Tandsu, has been named the new Second-in-Command of the Army of Tara. To commemorate the occasion, a series of exercises has been scheduled for the Army. Its purpose is to evaluate performance in a simulated invasion scenario. Also participating are elements of the Cagilan Army.
