Foreign drilled his soldiers up from their tents, "Guys, we are going." The men smiled instantly and buckled up their swords, "Finally we're moving to Troyes, we had to wait quite a while." Foreign raised his eyebrows, "Moving to Troyes? Excuse me? No were not going to Troyes yet. The men all looked up and frowned themselves, "Euh, sir? We're not going to Troyes?" "Yet." "So we are going?" Foreign sighted, "Of course, but not yet. We'll be doing something else now."

I resent that, I did not climb a tree to spy on her. I was tied up to the branch of a tree by my men after I tried to pay them with painted rocks. Besides, if I wanted to spy on her I would just peak in the hole magnus drilled in her wall while se was undres.... I mean I would never do such a thing unless I was really drunk as it is against my honor as a knight(plus the fact that Evangeline can kick my ass, it would be worth it but it would still hurt.)

Augustus woke up with a pounding headache. He look down was startled to see an unconscious Evangeline before he remembered how he fell on her from a tree. As her troops closed around him, ready to beat him to a pulp for knocking out their commander he suddenly saw a glint of steel in the trees,"Look out ambush!Enemies in the trees attack!" He yelled as he ran towards the stalkers, grateful for the distraction it provided him as he leapt upon the foremost man in thhe trees.

/CHINK!/ "There you go men that should keep you happy for a while." Augustus said as he threw his men a bag of gold. But as soon as they opened the bag their smiles faded,"What is this? These are just a bunch of painted stones." "Um...ah... you see... gold is pretty tight this week with the attack on Partora and all, but you'll be paid n full in at most 15 days. Uh what are you guys doing with that rope?" "Guys come on let me down." Augustus pleaded tothe men s they walked away from the tree where they had tied Augustus upside down. "Come on its getting dark and foamy hasn't eaten. Guys? *Dammit!*

Roleplay from Augustus

Still hanging from a tree, Augustus called to his men as they carried the tree towards troyes,"Come on you can trust me guys, just let me down. I get taxes in 2 days and then we can head to Perdan, cash those bonds and get drunk." One of the men hit him in the ead with a painted rock he had tried to pass off as gold. Oh well he thought at least no one is here to see this. However, as soon as he thought he passed over where Evangeline was waking up her sopldiers and readying them for travel to Troyes. Luckily his men were obscured by thick brush so she wouldn't notice unless something extremely bad happened, like he fell out of he tree. CRACK That didn't sound too good, maybe the branch would hold his weight long enough to get away from Evangeline's camp. SNAP like I'm that lucky he thought as he fell from the tree and straight onto Evangeline.

Why are there at least 5 TL's in Pratora stationary, and many more without units? tax is in 2 days, it's not like it's next turn...

I have a more urgent question:

Why the hell is almost half the realm sneaking and spieing on Evangeline? :D

Letter from Cesare

What is this talk of spying, can you give more details.

Letter from Foreign

Message sent to everyone in message group "Perdan Senate" (20 recipients)

Lol no, it just seems like half of the male population in Perdan is climbing into trees and sneaking around Evangeline's camp for some reason :D Not so much actual spying...

That's because she's hot heheheh

Letter from Foreign

Message sent to everyone in message group "Perdan Senate" (20 recipients)

Hehe, Evangeline let me help you, there is no need to leave a woman lying beneath 'it', is there :D Some courtesy if I may.

In the future however, I would suggest you avoid trees. With men. Looking at you. Hum.

Letter from Foreign

Maybe that should be a new option for entertainment:

Spy on Evangeline while hanging in a tree.

I mean if you recon so much guys do it, it must really be entertaining :D

PS: damn this council sure discusses important issues.

Roleplay from Foreign

Foreign drilled his soldiers up from their tents, "Guys, we are going." The men smiled instantly and buckled up their swords, "Finally we're moving to Troyes, we had to wait quite a while." Foreign raised his eyebrows, "Moving to Troyes? Excuse me? No were not going to Troyes yet. The men all looked up and frowned themselves, "Euh, sir? We're not going to Troyes?" "Yet." "So we are going?" Foreign sighted, "Of course, but not yet. We'll be doing something else now."

After half an hour all had assembled next to a bush of trees in the middle of the camp, next to EVangeline's tent, the soldiers looking at eachother in utter confusement, "Are we going to cut them down?" Foreign shook his head, "Nono, these trees are very important to this camp, half of the men has climbed them." The men's jaws fell open, "We have to climb them?" Foreign nodded, "They told me it is very entertaining." "Euh, climbing trees, sir?"

Foreign took a branch, "No not the actual climbing, but I've done some research, and it seems climbing trees is one of the newest entertainments. Already half of the nobles has climbed into a tree to spy on Evangeline, and I figured, if that many do it, it should be really entertaining..."

Letter from Augustus

I resent that, I did not climb a tree to spy on her. I was tied up to the branch of a tree by my men after I tried to pay them with painted rocks. Besides, if I wanted to spy on her I would just peak in the hole magnus drilled in her wall while se was undres.... I mean I would never do such a thing unless I was really drunk as it is against my honor as a knight(plus the fact that Evangeline can kick my ass, it would be worth it but it would still hurt.)

Letter from Foreign

Do not take it personally, Augustus, truely you just were the last drop that filled my bucket of humor. I remember plenty of men hiding in woods untill suddenly she passes and well you know... Perhaps as good as you knew there was a hole in the wall, perhaps not.

~restrains his men, "There is no hole in the wall."~

Truely you must understand that I was intrigued by the fact that such a lonesome yet married lady is the center of the adoration of half the realm. More than intrigued even, I was staggered, stunned, perplexed, baffled, flabbergasted even, really. How could a single lady drive a man into the trees to look at her? Or furthermore, could it be she only attracts men when they are hanging in trees? How did she meet Maelg actually?

Intresting...

Roleplay from Augustus

Augustus woke up with a pounding headache. He look down was startled to see an unconscious Evangeline before he remembered how he fell on her from a tree. As her troops closed around him, ready to beat him to a pulp for knocking out their commander he suddenly saw a glint of steel in the trees,"Look out ambush!Enemies in the trees attack!" He yelled as he ran towards the stalkers, grateful for the distraction it provided him as he leapt upon the foremost man in thhe trees.

Roleplay by Evangeline

Sunrise at Troyes...

Breathing in the crisp air Evangeline began rousing her troops for the upcoming battle. Something shiny caught her eye in the morning sun. Thinking it could possibly be a Perdan Lion, a rare sight these days, she bent to pick up the reflective object. Once in her hand she realised it was just a painted rock, and there seemed to be quite a few scattered around the site.

Pondering why someone would spend the time painting rocks she heard a rustle from the tree she was standing near. Lately trees in Perdan seemed to have an eery life of their own, often rustling, moving and even producing the occasional grunt or curse.

As she started to look up she heard a CRACK and before she could react it was followed by a SNAP. Suddenly knocked to the ground she felt the wind expelled from her lungs. Trying to push the weight off her she instantly recognised Sir Augustus, renowned in Perdan as the 'Silent Rhino'. He was frantically trying to shift his weight but ropes binding him hampered his efforts.

Trying to regain some dignity she looked at the mortified Knight squirming. Beginning to see the humour in the situation she stiffled a laugh as she started unbound him.

"Sir Augustus, I am honoured and pleased to finally meet the infamous Silent Rhino. Now get off me!"

Roleplay from Augustus

Pausing from beating up the man from the trees, Augustus turned back o lady Evangeline. "Um, I'm not on you, that's foamy my pet bear. You must have really hit your head hard." Turning his attention back to his fight he suuddenly realised the guy he'd been punching was foreign."Oh, hello Foreign, nice day isn't it? I suppose you want me to get off of you as well."

Roleplay from Foreign

"Oh, hello Foreign, nice day isn't it? I suppose you want me to get off of you as well."

Foreign shrugged Augustus of of him and grabbed his hand, "Flattered really, Augustus is it?" Foreign beckonned his men to climb down and whiped his cloack off, "I hope my face didn't hurt your fist too much?" Evangeline came running on, confuzed - yes even flabbergasted - and clearly awaiting an explanation.

"Well-euhm. There is a great explanation..." Foreign looked at her, "I just can't think of it right now. Heh-heh, I mean euhm... Well it's this, I'm weak. Yes I am, I am weak, everybody is doing it and I couldn't resist and why should I resist I mean it is a hype and I wanted to be cooh-oooh-oool..." Foreign almost bursted out in tears. Then he looked up again, his face plain seriousness, "No really, I apologize, my humor got the best of me again..."

Roleplay by Evangeline

"No really, I apologize, my humor got the best of me again..."

Evangeline looked towards the tall, handsome Knight. His clothes had been rumpled by Augustus and a look of hopeless, desperation creased his face.

As the two Knights stood together shame faced, with bits of twigs and leaves clinging to their hair and clothing, Evangeline couldn't help but supress a smile. "M'Lords, I think we have a battle to attend to. If you're finished playing in the trees, shall we move out to Troyes now?"

Roleplay from Maelg

...5 years ago, Maelg is mucking out the stables as a good stableboy does, when he spies a beautiful girl, no older than 16. She was the daughter of his lord, her name was Evangeline and she was the most stunning woman Maelg had ever seen.

Maelg has been besotted with her since he first laid eyes on her. He remembers the day as if it was yesterday. Maelg was up a tree, pruning some branches that had grown too close to the mansion and were scraping on the shutters, disturbing the inhabitant of the rooms sleep. As he was pruning a particularily stubborn branch, he happened to glance in the window and spied an angel sitting in the room. Unfortunately Maelg was so stunned by her beauty, that he lost his grip and fell from the tree, landing in an uncomfortable pile of freshly pruned branches.

Hearing the commotion through her freshly cleared window, Evangeline leans out of the window to see an extremely embarrassed young man brushing twigs and leaves from his breeches and hair.

"Thankyou sir, for clearing the banches" she calls down to the man.

"Please do not call me sir, Milady, I am but a humble stableboy, nothing more."

With that, Maelg hurries off before he embarasses himself further, vowing to make himself a better man so he can present himself to her with pride

.... to be continued

Roleplay from Augustus

"Hello Evangeline, Foreign. You're probably wondering what I was doing in this tree. It's a very interesting story. You see, I was looking for any enemy infiltrators so I went up a tree to spy the landscape better and to keep from falling I tied myself to a branch. But when I heard we were to attack Troyes I had my men carry the tree towards Troyes." Hoping they had believed that lie he continued, "Speaking of Troyes we should be off, I would be honored if you and your men could accompany me to protect me from my men.... I mean increase our combat efficiency."

Roleplay from ][osferatu

  • After the battle in Troyes, ][osferatu is walking around in the battlefield, studying his options for the next wave.*

- Squire, did it have to be a rural region? Plains have no hills. I need some higher ground to inspect the battlefield easier.

  • The squire looked around and then turned to ][osferatu.*

- Sir? May I propose something?

- What is it?

- How about climbing on that big tree near our army's camp? It should have a nice view of the battlefield from up there.

- A tree? Well, what the heck? Seems like I don't really have many options anyway.

  • ][osferatu climbed the big tree and indeed, the view was clear. He could see the Fontanese on the other side of the plain piling up their dead. As he brought his attention to his army camp, he saw someone - looked like a woman's shape - carrying a big sword. The shape looked shiny and glistening and as it turned around towards the tree, the sun reflected from the sword right into ][osferatu's eyes who instictively released the branch he was holding onto, putting both his hands infront of his face to block the light. He lost balance and crushed on the ground with a big thump right next to the female figure with the shining sword.*

- Sorry young Lady! Trees... They don't make them like they used to anymore.

Roleplay by Evangeline

Evangeline started as the tall Knight fell from the tree in front of her with a clatter of armour and a loud thump. As he straightened himself she recognised the High Marshal.

- Sorry young Lady! Trees... They don't make them like they used to anymore.

Evangeline was racked with uncertainty on how to react. Should she assist him or salute?

-My General - are you okay?

The High Marshal rose easily to his feet. He's eyes showed the type of intelligence that could only have come with years. And she could see that he carried the burden of leadership with dignity and ease.

Excellent battle General, Evangeline continued Line settings were spot on, the enemy were unprepared.

The General listened to her patiently as she spoke, nodding with ageement. Realising she was speaking words he already knew she began to redden.

Well General, I should return to attending my men

She turned quickly and started back to her camp. Passing her tent she noticed a hole in the side.

Have my tent replaced, she distractedly instructed her squire as she continued on. Thoughts of the General falling in front of her still swirling in her mind.
