Kalmar was founded after the cataclysm by adventurers. Some stopped and made their home here, too fearful of heading to the brooding, enigmatic [[East Continent/Chaos Temple|Chaos Temple]]. Others stopped, and gazed in awe of the city's prospects and simply chose to stay. These people who stayed attracted merchents wishing to make a profit off the sea trade areound the island city. This all brings architects to house these new people, so the architects then house themselves. People flock to where other people flock, you see as there is more to be done with more people.
