Kenshin was of a line of only sons, dating back to the earliest known Himoura, Gassan. Kenshin lived a simple life, had his sons, and settled down to retire, after being crippled in an attack by zealots convinced he was a practitioner of magic. His son Raziel managed to drive them off, but Kenshin was never the same. Kenshin lived for a long time afterwards, outliving both of his children, and some of their children. He passed away a very old man, but before he passed on, he let his great grandson, Raziel III know the secret of the Himoura line.
