Saint Beornic is the patron of the weather, fishing, and the lands around the Silver Lake of Atamara, particularly Amdor.
Beornic is aid to have caused a mighty flood in days of old, so that all could feed from the bounty of the lakes. Multitudes of freshwater fish were left on the shores, and the people of Atamara ate for a year.
Several heretics refused to eat the fish, and were led astray by false gods. Beornic led an army of men armed with nets and spears to slay the blasphemers. From this legend comes the saying "all fishermen are warriors of the waters".
Beornic wears silvery scales, and has sparkling black eyes.
