The accepted Applicants are those who at least have not given to the Thieves any reason for not to be accepted; they are promoted to the Novice Rank. However, the Novices are the accepted applicants who are under probation till they actually prove their potential of becoming Thieves.

Potential Thieves

The accepted applications result to promotion to the rank of Novice within the Order. The Novice Thieves are in a period of probation and they will be tested many times before they prove their worth to be granted with the original title of Thief.

Once a Novice is proven to have coprehended the Book of Codes, to think and act like a true Thief, promotion will occur no matter how much time it will be required for that to actually happen.
