The Honourable Odwern Raynor is a business owner, politician and civil servant in the port city of Strombran on Atamara. Previously, this man of noble blood though his ties to the Raynor Family, fought for Ikalak in the great war of the South West Island.
Odwern quickly rose through the ranks of the Ikalak nobility to become Baron of the region of Riakond|Riakond. After several months fighting, the fortunes of Ikalak - both in power and wealth - had fallen considerably. Odwern, a man obsessed by maximising his income in particular, gave up his position as Baron and left the island, a move inspired particularly by administrative changes within the banking system which meant wealth could not be transferred away from the island.
