The highest Award in Xavax and the equivalent to the Medal of Honor, The Shield is a medal awarded in special recognition of risking life and limb to save and serve Greater Xavax. This goes beyond ordinary military service, placing special emphasis on the actions of nobles who go above and beyond.
This Medal was first arranged by Xerarch Selenia and named for one of Xavax's fallen heroes, Uthred Mormont, who died defending her.
