First with the successful conclusion of our war with Fontan. Then after a brief period of peace we formally declared war on Ibladesh to aid our beleagured allies Itorunt. Important Dates December 1, 2008: I was one of the members of the Caligus vanguard who skirmished with Fontanese troops, in what would prove to be several large battles over the contested region of Braga. Braga December 1st Battle Report December 3, 2008: I had the honor of fighting in this valiant battle. 49 attackers (1057 Inf, 318 Arch, 47 Cav, 10 SF) 53 defenders (1020 Inf, 35 MI, 516 Arch, 184 Cav) Total combat strengths: 18572 vs. 19706 1 neutral observers (0 combat strength). Tryptoch Swordsmen have no combat-ready men and thus stay out of the battle. The forces from Westmoor brace as they prepare to defend their ongoing takeover. The region owner Fontan and their allies attack the takeover forces. The Fontan troops attack because they are at war with Westmoor. The troops from Caligus join the defense because of their alliance with Westmoor. It is quite windy and the archers will have to aim very carefully. Malfurion Stormrage, General of Fontan, Count of Commonyr, Marshal of the Fontan Rangers takes command of his army. They deploy in Infantry Charge formation. Lady Gabriella Kinsey (Dame of Ashforth, Fontan) takes command of her army. They deploy in Infantry Charge formation. Ertugrul Kalkandelen, Marshal of the Lions takes command of his army. They deploy in Infantry Charge formation. Sandra Jimenez, Marshal of the Democratic Guard takes command of her army. They deploy in Infantry Charge formation. Connor MacLeod (Knight of Oberndorf, Fontan) takes command of his army. They deploy in Infantry Charge formation. Sir Bethe II Anhorn, General of Westmoor, Marshal of the Westmoor Tactical Force takes command of his army. They deploy in Infantry Wall formation. Bjorn Utengar, Baron of Sordidus, Marshal of the Free Loyalist Army of Caligus takes command of his army. They deploy in Infantry Wall formation. Sylkvor Baulr, Count of Mashhad, Marshal of the Caligus Blue Dragons takes command of his army. They deploy in Infantry Wall formation. Arak Thorson, General of Caligus, Duke of Akesh Temple, Marshal of the Caligus Red Gryphons takes command of his army. They deploy in Fortification Defense formation. Clarissa Yorke, Baroness of Eldoret, Marshal of the Perdan's Murderous Wrath takes command of her army. They deploy in Infantry Wall formation. After a back and forth contest this massive battle resulted in a victory for the combined armies of Perdan, Caligus, and Westmoor. With our manpower seriously depleted and more Fontanese reinforcements on the way the Allied armies left the region of Braga to return to their respective capitals to refit. This was the last major battle of the war that Caligus participated in. With peace talks underway, all forces returned to their respective homelands and only engaged in minor skirmishing.
