| Daimons are the children of the Xenatl, the second "batch" of gods that came, if you will, while the undead are the creations of the Xenotl, the firts to have been created by the primal deities. Humans were the last of those to be created, and were the result of the mixing of the blood of both Xenotl and Xelatl, a more balanced being, capable of serving and following both, of maintaining the sacred cycle of life. Daimons... One can see our more aggressive natures in them, our wild emotions, our capacity to grow, even the nature of our mundane bodies, our instinctual urges... On the other side, our intellect, cunning, our culture, civilization: aspects of humanity that can be clearly seen within the undead. All in all, all our aspects can be derived from one of the two. Well... not directly, we do not descend from daimons or undeads, but we do share the same creators.
